Place of Rescue
Cambodia No Comments »Jordan and here fifth grade class from Logos went on a field trip to a neat ministry here in the outskirts of Phnom Penh. It is called the “place of rescue”. It is a ministry to orphans of parents killed by AIDS,those with AIDS, and to older women. They have a school and clinic for the over two hundred people that they minister too. It was started by a women from Canada , Marie Ens.She was here in the 1960’s until 1975. Then she had to leave due to the war.She came back in the 1990’s and has been ministering here since.
Jordan’s class was the first class to ever visit them ,as a field trip. They played games with the kids and listened as Marie gave a talk to them. The Logos kids actually prayed for Marie which was a great blessing.

The sign in Khmer reads” save people without hope ” which really means rescue.
That’s what they are doing there , giving hope to the hopeless and needy.
